Hotel in a historic villa
Just a stone's throw from the sea, on the Riviera di Ponente, is Hotel Sereno, in Cogoleto, one of the many beautiful villas of the Genova area and living testimony to a lost but not forgotten age.
Our hotel is unique among its kind, however. It is a homage to Liguria's most authentic side: a beautiful villa framed by a luscious green park with majestic, ancient trees.
The hotel
Hotel Sereno was founded in Cogoleto in the 1950s, when our family became the villa's owners.
Our hotel has remained family-run since then and has always striven to give our guests personal care and attention and a warm welcome.
History of the villa
Hotel Sereno is housed in a splendid 18th-century noble villa, formerly the residence of the marquesses of Centurione Scotto. It is unique, graceful, and preserves the aura of a bygone age.
At our hotel you will find original 19th-century furniture, frescoes and a magnificent staircase in fine marble.
The villa is surrounded by a luscious park in the Mediterranean 'riviera' style, along whose stone paths you can have beautiful walks. Some of its trees are over 150 years old.
